SOUTH-east pointto-point jockey Katie Featherstone won the Scurry of East Sussex (9 March) riding Winola. Katie is the only person to have won the hunt race at both of its courses – she first took it in 2017 when it was held at The Glebe in Burwash – and only the second to win it on two different horses since its inception in 1997.
She quickly followed up her success with her first winner – second if you include a walkover – between the flags, riding Imperial Acolyte at Charing the next day.
