They may have saved their love from rock bottom once, but now Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s marriage is back on shaky ground after the rapper publicly confirmed that he’d been unfaithful to his wife.
Speaking for the first time about the cheating rumours that have plagued their romance since that infamous elevator bust-up in 2014, Jay-Z admitted, “You have to survive and when you go into survival mode, you shut down all emotion ... And then all the things happen from there – infidelity.”
Confirming it almost ended their nine-year marriage, he added, “Most people walk away... The hardest thing is seeing pain on someone’s face that you caused and then having to live with yourself.”
