Her boyfriend Ant's custody issues are causing plenty of trouble in paradise

Renee Zellweger once declared that her boyfriend Ant Anstead is "a gift" and since they got together last June, the actress has never appeared more content. But Ant's issues with his ex-wife, Christina Haack, are threatening to burst the couple's cosy love bubble.

Last month Ant requested full custody of his and Christina's son Hudson after alleging the former Flip Or Flop host handed the two-year-old over to his care in January without disclosing that the toddler had tested positive to COVID-19, which in turn affected Renee.

"At the time, my partner was filming her new project and her COVID diagnosis placed the whole production on pause," Ant, 43, claimed in court documents, also alleging Hudson had been recently returned to him with severe sunburn.

Christina, 38, hit back that Ant is only trying to "smear" and "tarnish" her with his accusations.

"I've had my share of ups and downs but I'm a good mum and I love my children with all my heart and I will always protect them," she told People after the filing.
