A groundbreaking new plan to have a core crew of eight royals representing The Firm has set the cat among the pigeons within the family.

Just weeks after the Queen revealed her “A-team” – comprising of Her Majesty, 94, Prince Charles, 72, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, 73, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Princess Anne, 70, Prince Edward, 56, and his wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex, 55 – Woman’s Day can reveal the House of Windsor has become more bitterly divided than ever.

Since the “royal eight” gathered on the steps of Windsor Castle to celebrate the glorious return of William and Kate, both 38, from their successful train journey of the United Kingdom to thank frontline pandemic workers, it’s been made clear that the Queen sees them as its future.

And the notable exceptions – namely Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie – were left reeling by the snub.
