A. Karan is ready to take on the world as he gears up for the 44th WorldSkills Competition, under the guidance of Samantha Kochhar.

At the young age of 19, A. Karan is burning the midnight oil, untiringly practising his skills for over 16 hours every day. Starting early in the day, he whips out his combs, scissors, dryers and starts practicing haircuts and styles well through midnight. For Karan, hairdressing is a passion, and it is only fitting that he is representing India in hairdressing at the 44th WorldSkills Competition, to be held in Abu Dhabi in October 2017.
