A conversation with Shachi got us thinking; we were excited and blistering with happiness and love after hearing her school of thought. A celebration of love and matrimony surrounded by her loved ones is every woman’s idea of a wedding- and not being scrutinized by 1000s of guests. Imagine your pheras are about to begin and you can’t locate your friends cheering for you? Or your parents who are out their pleasing the guests- you definitely wouldn’t want that.

In 2017, Rikhil and I were on a bike trip to Ladakh where we crossed Pangong lake, that very moment we knew, this is where we want to get married, and surprisingly our parents agreed without a fuss.

That led us to an intimate wedding of 60 guests; we shared a 9 days travel experience with our close friends and family in Ladakh.
