Aladdin

WITH the spotlight on the genie in the live-action adaptation of Disney’s Aladdin, it raises the question, “Can Will Smith live up to Robin Williams’ original character?”

Perhaps. And frankly, we hope so, lest it become a battle of Will vs. Williams.

Portraying an iconic character played by an even more well loved and iconic actor is nothing short of a heroic feat. But since the first official trailer for Aladdin has been released, it seems that Smith has a fighting chance.
