WE WILL BE ABLE TAP POWER OF QUANTUM COMPUTING AT WILL

What is the latest potential of Quantum-as-a Service given the cost and complexity of early quantum set-ups and constraints of classical computers?

Yes, there is a huge potential expected from Quantum Computing and Quantum-as-a-service model is going to drive that potential to make it accessible for the betterment of world in solving complex problems, which probably would not have been possible in the case of current classic computers. Many of you are aware that the Government of India in the 2020 budget, has announced a significant investment plan through the National Mission on Quantum technologies & Applications (NM-QTA) to potentially support research on Quantum Computing and its applications in the field of health, science, aero-space engineering, weather, agriculture, education, cybersecurity, transportation, navigation and many others, with a budget outlay of Rs 8000 Crore.

Quantum Computing and its innovations will drive disruption to business models. This shows the level of importance and growth potential that advanced countries in the world are betting on in terms of innovative technology and solutions.

Any barriers that are big enough – as of now?
