For only the second time in history, the Solheim Cup will be played opposite the Ryder Cup.
From September 22-24, Spain’s Finca Cortesin will welcome stars from the women’s game for the first leg of what is being billed as a 10-day festival of golf.
Attention will then turn to the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Rome, when the men take to a new made-for-matchplay course, from September 29-October 1.
The two storylines couldn’t be any more different, however.
