The two Asian giants only play against each other in ICC events or multi-team events like the Asia Cup. Though both teams have played plenty of Tests and One-Day Internationals against each other, the same can’t be said about the shortest format of the game. Both teams have met 8 times in T20I cricket, with India winning 7 of them, including the most recent one in 2016. While India are currently second in the T20I rankings, Pakistan are fourth. Nevertheless, players from both India and Pakistan continue being part of fantasy teams of fans on both sides of the border. Rohit Sharma is one of the most decorated batsmen in T20 cricket. He is the third-highest run-scorer in T20I history. So far, Rohit has amassed 2864 runs at an average of 32.54 and a strike rate of 138.9. The 34-year-old has a total of 4 T20I centuries to his name, which is the highest by any player in T20I history. He will definitely be one of the players to watch out for in the upcoming T20 WC.

2. MOHAMMAD RIZWAN

Mohammad Rizwan is a rising star in international cricket. He has been playing well for Pakistan at the top of the order, especially in T20 cricket. So far, Rizwan has played 36 T20Is for Pakistan, smashing 843 runs at an average of 44.3 and a strike rate of over 127. The wicketkeeper-batsman recently smashed his maiden T20I ton against South Africa (104*) in Lahore. He is expected to play a vital role in Pakistan’s bid to win their second T2o WC title.
