New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson has made batting look so easy in Test cricket. The senior player was once again instrumental for the Black Caps, helping them seal the two-match Test series against Pakistan. With this win, New Zealand rose to the summit of the ICC Test Rankings, surpassing Australia. Notably, Williamson too is atop the ICC Test Rankings for Batsmen and he has some deafening numbers of late to support his cause.

The right-handed batsman has been a part of the famous Fab Four in Tests. A unique club that features the likes of modern-day stalwarts like Virat Kohli, Steve Smith and Joe Root. There is little to separate each of these players, however, going by the look of things in recent times, Williamson has raised the bar. His pedigree and consistency is laudable and that has shifted into him being able to dig in and score valuable runs.
