Jim Craig pays tribute to his team-mate

SCORING the winning goal in Lisbon made Stevie Chalmers a legendary figure in the Celtic history books, yet his former team-mate Jim Craig said you would never have surmised that from the quiet humble man who also happened to be an exceptional footballer.
Stevie was eight years older than Jim and made his Celtic debut six years years before the full-back.
The Lisbon Lion defender said he was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of his former team-mate and added he would always remember how the kind and quiet Hoops legend welcomed him into the team.
