Maestro Delighted To Be Part Of Trophy Day At Paradise
Celtic View
|Vol 54 Issue 43
ON the day when Paradise celebrated an eighth title in a row, and the team captain and No.8 lifted the trophy once again, it was fitting that another legendary Celtic No.8 was guest of honour.
-

Paul McStay met the team at The Celtic Way on Sunday, ahead of the game against Hearts, before he and Scott Brown carried the trophy into the stadium.
And he was part of the post-match presentation ceremony, bringing the trophy out on to the pitch before congratulating each of the Celtic players as they received their league winner’s medal.
Not surprisingly, the Maestro was given a rapturous reception by the Celtic supporters. He is one of Celtic’s greatest ever players, and only the legendary Billy McNeill made more appearances for the Hoops than Paul McStay.
Although based in Australia now, Paul was delighted to be back in Paradise and be part of Trophy Day.
