Hatem Elhamed: We must be strong in a tough Europa League group

DRAWN against AC Milan, Sparta Prague and Lille in the group stages of the UEFA Europa League on Friday, Hoops defender Hatem Elhamed can’t wait to build on the standards Celtic set in the tournament last year.
Having topped their group in last season’s competition, the Israeli said the Hoops’ upcoming opponents are all quality teams – but reckons Celtic are as capable as anyone on their day.
Speaking exclusively while in the air on their return from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the 29-year-old said: “We drew some strong teams, but we are strong as well so we expect to do a good job in Europe – like last season, but even more in terms of going forward to the next level.
