Defending champion looks serene despite being harried by his rivals and the media
As Tadej Pogačar rode into the Tour’s final week with a lead of more than five minutes, it was clear that only illness, a crash or a wholly unexpected change of fortune could prevent him from claiming a second yellow jersey. The UAE Team Emirates leader looked serene, fending off his rivals with apparent ease, his lead the biggest at that point since the 2000 Tour.
