Rain-Lashed Races Add Extra Drama

Riders in the Tour Series and Matrix Fitness GP Series are facing an additional challenge this year: near-constant wet weather.

In four of the six rounds thus far, heavy rain has fallen, including at Wembley Park and Bath last week, where there were crashes aplenty.

The deluge of rain is meaning that finishes are being contested by fewer riders than usual, while there has also been a change in bike set-up and tactics to offset the wet conditions.
