I first became interested in photography in 1976 and took my first pictures using a Nikon F Photomic FTN – my goal then was to use the most up-to-date technology. More than 40 years later, I am still passionate about photography. The first pictures I had published were on architecture, but since then I’ve focused on nature and travel. Colour, vibrancy, and space are all attributes of my artwork. I have been shooting macro portraits, such as my Faces series, since 1998. Wherever my travels end up taking me, I am always on the lookout for insects to photograph.
