Although the pandemic has put a spanner in the works, wedding bells are still ringing – and that too, online! It might seem that the big fat Indian wedding has taken a break but that’s not the case. Couples are increasingly moving online with their wedding - whether it’s selecting the venue, shopping or the ceremony itself - by engaging the services of live-streaming apps and websites.

Gone are the days of people hopping from places to places care-free; we now gauge the necessity of stepping out wherever we go. We are relying more and more on the virtual world to fulfil our needs. So when it comes to choosing your wedding venue, why not go the virtual route too?

Some wedding venues will offer you stills or virtual experiences of the space. If you cannot visit the venue, hop onto their website and look at what all they have got to offer. Besides this, you can even ask the wedding venue operator to give you a virtual tour in real-time through any of the video-calling apps at your disposal – FaceTime, Whatsapp Video Call, Zoom, Skype or Google Meet. Book an appointment in advance, note down your questions and concerns and ask them once you get the virtual tour.
