With a single picture, this genre brings issues into the spotlight and encourages us to get up on our feet and take action. All in all, Photojournalism is a powerful medium to convey the significance of news-worthy stories, historical moments, political matters, and social issues.

Usually, photojournalists are hired by news publications to cover stories. They are assigned to work with writers on a particular article. Sometimes, a photojournalist may work alone where their pictures are published as standalone features in news publications and magazines.
