July 2021

Instax is a line of instant camera from Fujifilm that prints photos on the spot. We got an Instax Square SQ 1 for a review and we have spent some time with the Fujifilm Instax Square SQ 1, launched last year in September 2020 at a price of ₹10,999 in India. The price has been decreased now. The latest price of Instax Square SQ 1 is ₹9,999. This Instant camera was launched in three vibrant colours including Chalk White, Glacier Blue and Terracotta Orange.

Often some of us find ourselves in a digital rut and we switch to film to get in pace. Using instant film takes away the need to take rolls to the lab (or your darkroom) to be developed, and provides the same immediate results physically.

This review features the Terracotta Orange colour model of the Fujifilm Instax Square SQ1. So, let’s see how it performed.

Look, body and design

Starting with the design, this one looks like a proper instant camera unlike the previous one Instax Square SQ6, which looks more like a toy camera. It is little large in size and it’s difficult to use it with single hand. It weighs around 390 grams, which can be a downside for consumers because there are instant cameras that are compact and easy to carry and use. Instax Square SQ 1 is going to take plenty amount of space in your bag for sure. Overall, the design of the Instax Square SQ1 camera looks pretty nice, but it could have been better if it would have been more compact.

The Instax camera is built really well and doesn’t feel fragile, which is great. It comes with a hand strap to easily carry the camera. The camera includes a big lens right in the middle while the shutter button is placed on the left corner. The button is placed well but one should be careful as it can be mistakenly clicked a photo and wasted a film, available in limited quantities.

The Rise of Street Couture Photography

Street couture photography has taken over fashion culture in a way few trends have before. It blends high fashion with real world grit, turning sidewalks into runways and everyday people into style subjects. This shift did not happen overnight. It grew from a mix of social media influence, shifting brand priorities, and a global appetite for authenticity. What used to be a niche style is now a major force shaping how fashion is captured, consumed, and imagined.
