Fears for Nazanin as trial begins

British mum Nazanin Zhaghari-Ratcliffe will stand trial in Iran again today amid fears she may never come home.

She is close to the end of her 2016 sentence for spying charges, which she denies.

But she was told she faces a new trial last week and was taken by the regime’s Revolutionary Guard early yesterday morning and brought back to court.

Speaking at home in London yesterday, her husband Richard said he fears “a show trial she cannot win”.
