Rolls-Royce unwrapped its one-seater jet this week, revealing a sleek blue and white machine that is set to take flight in 2020.
The mechanical bird is poised to become ‘the world’s fastest all-electric aircraft’, as it will target speeds of over 300 miles per hour and is fitted with a battery pack that provides 200 miles of flight on a single charge. The plane is a key part of Rolls-Royce’s strategy to champion electrification.
