After a West Delhi man tests positive, 6 family members quarantined

Taking the country's total number of positive cases of Coronavirus to 31, a 25-year-old resident of West Delhi's Uttam Nagar was tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday. He has been shifted to Safdarjung Hospital, officials said.

He has a travel history to Thailand and Malaysia and returned on February 7. After returning from Malaysia, he visited his office in Gurugram, as confirmed by Gurugram CMO BK Rajora.

Meanwhile, his six family members have been home quarantined, officials said.

After the return from Thailand he rejoined the office located in Gurugram's Udyog Vihar on February 7. He stayed in the office for just two hours and returned home in West Delhi's Uttam Nagar. We have quarantined him and taken blood sample as soon as we learnt about his foreign journey. His report came in on Saturday and wherein he found positive of COVID 19,” Rajora said.
