5 Of A Family Killed For ₹30k In Delhi

Bodies of couple and 3 kids were found nine days after the killings

Unable to return ₹ 30,000, a 28year-old cousin of Shambhu Chaudhary allegedly planned the mass murder of the five family members including the couple and their three children in North-East Delhi’s Bhajanpura area, police said on Thursday.

Prabhu Chaudhary, who worked at a coaching center has been arrested by the Delhi Police on Thursday. He allegedly killed five persons with an iron rod and left the bodies inside their residence before locking the house and escaping, police said.

Within a span of four hours, he killed four members of the family including Sunita (37), wife of Shambhu, their children- Shivam (17), Sachin (14) and Komal (12), one by one. Later, he invited Shambhu for a few drinks to Laxmi Nagar and then returned to their residence to kill him as well, the police claimed.
