Seven-try Quins Serve Up Christmas Cracker
QUINS chose their annual gala game at Twickenham to serve up possibly their best performance of the season with a seventry extravaganza that struggling Saints were powerless to resist.
Over 77,000 were in attendance while fortuitously this game was also the first in Premiership history to be televised on terrestrial TV as well as BT Sport.
For about five minutes the first half was competitive with both teams blowing clear overlaps, but thereafter Quins disappeared into the distance.
First hooker Dave Ward showed the pace of a wing to roar home from 35 yards with a step past Harry Mallinder to boot after the most delicate of passes from front row colleague Kyle Sinckler. Spectacular.
