Paul McNally’s Step 5 side became the first North West Counties Premier Division outfit to reach this stage since 1996 as they stunned their hosts thanks to two goals apiece from Emini Adegbenro and Lloyd Ellams – their sixth victory in the competition already this season.
The lowest-ranked side in the competition were attempting to restore some lost pride in recent years and they got off to the perfect start with the opening goal on the quarter-hour mark.
