It looks like Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner may be done for good —and a Source Claims it’s all about his Ex-Fiancée, Jennifer Lopez.

THOUGH it was back in June of 2015 that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck announced their split, neither one has lifted a finger to file for divorce since then. In fact, they’ve been seen together so often this spring and summer, smiling and acting affectionately, it sparked speculation that they were get ting back together. But things took a dark turn on Aug. 28, when the duo were spotted in Los Angeles during what appeared to be a tense moment between them. Jen seemed to be holding back tears, but when she got into their car, her dark glasses couldn’t hide her miserable expression. Ben, for his part, simply seemed angry. 

The reason for the rift, claims a source, is a stunner — and it could have caused a major nosedive from which their in-repair relationship may not recover. “Ben’s been back in touch with his ex-fiancée, Jennifer Lopez,” the source tells Star. “Jen couldn’t believe that Ben would contact J.Lo — it really sent her into a tailspin.”
