Top 3 Most Ridiculous Fatwas

It was just a regular morning, with some hot tea and morning news. I read something that tripped me over, and left everyone around me wondering - what is so funny that has reached the papers today. I shared the news with my brother and suddenly he feels delighted to not have been a Saudi Sheikh with a passion for the game of Chess.

This would get you thinking, what is so funny about Chess, it's a just a simple strategic game of chances and moves. But Apparently for Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin-Abdullah al-Sheikh, the Grand Mufti, this simple docile game between two players might lead to enmity and hence is a 'Haram' for Muslims. He also convinced his fellow scholars (doubt) that the game of chess leads to gambling, wastage of time and interruption for 5 prayers a day. The game was earlier Banned in 1979, where one wasn't even allowed to play a game of Chess with a computer or a bot. Later this was revoked and led to a lot of promotion of the game. Now, the Grand Mufti is provoking a debate on this matter and wants to re-ban Chess (are the grapes sour?)
