...Band that I fell in love with

"There were a few, all at the same time. Slipknot, The Offspring, and Weezer. Those were the first bands that I connected instantly with in my youth. I remember putting on the Self-Titled Slipknot album and immediately hearing a channel for all of the angst I had. Then coming across 'Smash' by The Offspring showed me more of the rebellious energy. Weezer's 'Blue Album' then tapped into this introspective and detached feeling of existence that I cherished a lot. Rock music has that sort of energy that comes at you in such a direct way, and I think that's what spoke to me about these bands in their own ways. And because of all of them, I was able to branch out and discover even more about all of these different strands of the genre."
