Biceps Tendon Injuries.

Everyone wants to have good guns but getting them isn’t easy. It is also hard to avoid injury to the biceps especially when they are being used so regularly while training other muscle groups or in day-to-day activities.
Looking after your arms to avoid injuries is recommended, but if the worst is to happen and injury strikes, here is the best way to recover as quickly as possible.
Preventative care
Now we have inside access to the private lives of our sports heroes thanks to social media, there is one common practice we regularly witness. Most athletes have regular massage or fascia tool work. These allow the toxins to be flushed from the area and fresh blood to be pumped back in, creating the best possible environment to recover. Practices like these have aided many strength athletes alongside kinesiology tapping or cryo chambers. One of the latest continual maintenance treatments being used by all are Theraguns. A percussive therapy approach to work deep into the muscle tissue.
The biceps muscle has two tendons that attach it to the bones of the shoulder and one tendon that attaches to the radius bone at the elbow. Injuries that occur to the muscle include tendonitis and painful tendon tears.
Biceps basics
The biceps muscle is located at the front of your upper arm. The tendons in the bicep are extremely tough strips of tissue that connect muscles to bones and allow us to move our limbs.
Injuries to the biceps tendons include:
Proximal biceps tendonitis at shoulder
Proximal biceps tendon tear at shoulder
Distal biceps tendonitis and tears at the elbow
