KĀ‘ANAPALI

Maui’s famed mile-long jewel is a glittering treasure. At the north end, Kahekili Beach is named after the last king of Maui. With its sandy bottom, this area is ideal for snorkeling. The southern boundary is Pu’u Keka’a, or Black Rock. This unique outcropping of black lava is surrounded by coral reefs, and is another underwater haven to witness Maui’s fascinating sea life.
