Some Relationships Aren't Meant To Stand The Test Of Time
The Malaysian Women\'s Weekly|November 2016

They started out as husband and wife in the movie Mr & Mrs Smith, but off-screen, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have ended their real-life love story by calling it quits as Mr & Mrs Pitt.

Fans were thrown into a frenzy when the news broke that Angelina Jolie had filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in September. While the actress cited “irreconcilable differences” as the grounds for the divorce, Brad released a statement of his own that read:

“I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the wellbeing of our kids.”

It is still unclear what went wrong with the marriage, but a source close to the pair revealed that “they fought a lot over the years and disagreed about many things... The fighting got worse and they disagreed a lot about parenting.”

The insider also noted that they would also “fight over their schedules and politics”.

When movie bosses paired heartthrob Brad with celebrity sex kitten Angelina for the movie Mr & Mrs Smith in 2005, they must have known that fireworks would follow. They could not have known, however, how this explosive pairing would be felt long after the cameras stopped rolling – more than 10 years later, in fact.

As rumours circulated that the two were more than just co-stars, Brad’s marriage then to Jennifer Aniston ended. The former No. 1 Hollywood couple denied any third party was to blame for their split, but that did not stop Angelina from being dragged into the mix.

While Jen fell in and out of love through one failed relationship after another, until her recent marriage to actor Justin Theroux, Brad and Ange seemingly had it made both at home and at work.

Some claimed from the outset that their love was too intense to last. Maybe they were right after all – because Brangelina is no more.

For a while, their family of six children kept the happy couple from walking down the aisle but in 2014, Brad and Angelina were married in secret in a ceremony with their kids – Maddox, Pax, Shiloh, Knox and twins Zahara and Vivienne – at their French hideaway of a home.
