Many artists look outward for inspiration, but Tammy Conover creates masterpieces from deep within.
FOR TAMMY CONOVER, creating art isn’t just about applying paint to canvas. Her work is about finding and exploring deep connections within and without.
“My art brings so much joy to my spirit, to my soul,” she says. “When I paint, that’s my God time, my church time. This is my time to spend with spirit.”
Her paintings reflect the many moods of those moments. Some are brash and bright, some featuring splashy hearts, rainbows, or even angels. Others are cooler and calmer, the colors more muted and the patterns more constrained. But they are all deeply personal.
