Bobbing for Apples
Oklahoma Today
|January/February 2021
Though there may be apples on the brain at this cidery, a beer-like experience is in store for those who venture to OK Cider Co.
WALKING INTO THE warehouse door of the OK Cider Co., guests are greeted by a large chalkboard with drink choices as colorful as an orchard full of Gala, Honeycrisp, and Pink Lady apple trees. For co-owners Tim King and LukE (his spelling) Hadsall, cider was a way to introduce more color, flavor, and fun into their glasses without the sugar rush of sub-par ciders or the discomfort of glutenous beer.
“This is all for me,” King says. “I got LukE into making cider so there was something on tap at his house that I could drink.”
