She’s made no secret of her desire to become a mum, speaking openly about her dream of having a baby.

Now it seems Delta Goodrem has decided to make her dreams a reality – and it’s all thanks to her close friend and rumoured lover, Seal.

Sources tell New Idea that the much-loved singer is ‘desperate to have a baby’ in the next 12 months, and is ‘exploring all her options’ to help her become a mum.

It’s believed Seal, who stars with Delta on The Voice, is behind the plans to fast track her baby dreams – convincing her that becoming a mum will be ‘her greatest achievement.’

‘Delta has been talking more and more about having a baby in recent months,’ says an insider. ‘She feels like she’s at a time in her life where she’s ready to take the big step into motherhood, and is desperate to have a baby.

‘She’s still looking for Mr Right – but she’s also open to having a baby on her own. Seal has been a really good sounding board for Delta with everything, and has convinced her to take the plunge.
