After Four Years of Marriage and Two Children, the Couple Can’t Agree on Anything.

After four “tumultuous” years, George and Amal Clooney’s marriage looks to be hanging by a thread. On their fourth wedding anniversary, an occasion that should have been spent enjoying a romantic night together, the pair were thousands of kilometres apart. While Amal attended the 73rd session of the United Nations Assembly in New York, George was partying with pal Rande Gerber in Los Angeles.

“The fact that they couldn’t manage to be in the same city and spend such an important day together is the writing on the wall,” an insider told Life & Style. It doesn’t help that their jobs appear to be pushing them apart. While Amal is increasingly finding herself working in New York, George seems to be spending more time on the other side of the country in LA.

Indeed, the couple have spent over 75 days apart, with Amala no-show at George’s annual Halloween bash last week. In fact, the last time the couple were photographed together was back on Aug. 12, with those close to the pair stating they are living increasingly “separate lives” and are “over as a couple”.
