Time Is A Precious Commodity

It wasn’t long ago that a good friend of mine really understood the significance of time. He explains that, while visiting his parents last year, he was able to have a borehole, water tank and geyser installed at their house. He had turned on the taps and watched the water run for the first time in his parents’ home.

My buddy and I talk often, but I had never seen him this emotional. He equated the knowledge that his parents would never again have to boil water and carry it through to the bathtub to how he had felt the day his wife had announced they were expecting twins.
