Cruising With The Family

Maybe a holiday on a cruise ship with the family is something you should look into
-
To most South Africans, the extent of holidaying is confined to the ideal of loading the car and trekking into the Karoo or escaping to the coastal towns. While there is nothing wrong with this form of holiday, doing the same thing every year gets tiring. Besides, there are a lot of advantages to changing the routine when kids are involved.
You’ve seen the advertisements and heard the stories. Sun, sea, and a monstrously big ship, filled with entertainment, casinos, deck and pool parties, sundowner cocktails, and buffet lines that never close. We think holiday cruise and a sly smile cracks on our faces, followed by a flash of excitement, and a longing to escape the mundane humdrum. However, soon the endless possibilities fade away and a false reality sets in. We believe it is way out of our budget, not all it’s made out to be, and impossible to do once you have kids.
Yes, taking a cruise can certainly be costly, but there are many people enjoying themselves on cruise ships who are working on as tight a budget as anyone else. The trick is not to do a cruise on a whim, unless it is an incredible offer that simply can’t be missed. Plan within your budget. If you choose to do an MSC cruise, go online and register with them so you can receive e-mails of promotions or qualify for member discounts. It is really an easy exercise to do some research and to get the best possible deal.
