Grateful and pleased describes the tone of Olympic candidate, Gavin Kyle Green who is now the 3rd best golfer in Malaysia behind Danny Chia and Nicholas Fung. The 22 year old pro golfer secured a place in the Olympics following two significant wins in the Asian Development Tours, which saw his global rankings soar.

Green’s championship wins in the Northport Glenmarie Championship and ICTSI Manila South woods Championship saw his global ranking leapfrog to 366 from 730.

“I really wanted to be in the Olympics for sure but we had more experienced golfers like Nicholas and Danny who were bumped up due to recent wins.
