It’s routine, you raise your hand out when you see a typical black and yellow taxi passing by and after at least two have refused the fare, that special one will finally stop for you. However, the idea of opening the door to a Santro or i10 is still somewhat alien to me. Although Santro and i10’s have been around for quite a considerable amount of time, both as a personal car as well as a taxi, it still feels relatively new. The pull-out style door handle, decent headspace and tall boy design are not things I am used to associating with a Mumbai taxi.
