Take a walk on the wild side

From watching whales and puffins to stalking, fishing and playing rounders on golden beaches, the Benmore Estate, on the island of Mull, is a private paradise offering unforgettable memories for families
Take a walk on the wild side

EVENTS of recent years have thrown the magic of Nature into even sharper focus and the Benmore estate is the perfect place to explore it. For the young, it offers an exciting voyage of discovery. For their parents and grandparents, it provides a welcome glimpse of a slower pace of life. The rare experience offered by the Benmore estate comes from the vision of its owner, Tim Radford, who saw an opportunity to share the pleasures of this pristine paradise of soaring peaks and open skies, wooded glens, gently trailing rivers and golden beaches. Land and sea are home to darting dolphins, kingfishers, basking sharks and orcas, with falcons and sea eagles soaring high above the cliffs hunting for prey. Guests experience Nature in the raw: stags roaring in the glen, playful otters scavenging for food along the coast, puffins on the Treshnish Isles, west of Mull.

Something for everyone
