Tips To Get Deeper And, Ultimately, Result In Wrinkles

Fine lines are pretty much the warning your skin tries to give you before the dawn of full-blown wrinkles. They first start making their appearance around your mouth and eyes in your mid to late thirties. They’re the combined result of the natural breakdown of collagen and elastin in your skin along with years of exposure to harmful UV rays from the sun. However, thanks to technological advances in the beauty and skincare world, today there are quite a few ways to iron them out before these fine lines get deeper and, ultimately, result in wrinkles.
Take Care
You don’t have to reach out for the super strong, full-blown wrinkle treatments as soon as you start noticing fine lines on your face. This is the time you want to start looking into what ingredients will work best on your skin to balance, nourish and maintain your skin’s moisture, all whilst repairing any UV damage as well.
As much as we want to respond as soon as we see something unpleasant on our skin, the trick is to approach calmly. Bombarding your face with every single anti-fine lines product you can think of will only irritate your skin, causing those fine lines to stand out more!
Cleanse
When purchasing a cleanser, make sure the product has balancing properties to gently cleanse your skin, instead of just completely stripping your face of its natural oils, in the guise of cleansing. Dry skin is a welcome mat for fine lines! Use a creamy cleanser if you’ve got dry skin or a foaming wash if you’ve got oily skin. A thorough cleanse helps your skin go on to absorb all the nutrients from your face creams.
Exfoliate
Even though it’ll leave your cheeks feeling as soft as a baby’s butt, exfoliation should not be done more than 1-2 times a week. Even then, it is recommended that you don’t exfoliate your face right before heading out into the sun and/ or pollution. If done ignorantly, exfoliation will rid your skin of its natural protective barrier, making your face extremely vulnerable to harsh external factors.
