Get Ready For Wedding Season
Cosmopolitan Sri Lanka|June 2019

Getting ready for a wedding can be nerve-wracking even when you're just a guest! Being Sri Lankan, you know when it's nakath season you've got a wedding almost every other week!

Get Ready For Wedding Season

As you auspiciously prep for your loved ones’ nuptials this season, here’s a step-by-step guide on how you can get your glam on and turn a few heads in the process.

STEP1: THE NIGHT BEFORE

If you’re hoping not to look like a raccoon the next day, you need a good night’s sleep tonight (yes, a full 7 hours, ladies). Once you’re up and fresh in the morning, pamper your hair with a little love from Spa Ceylon’s range of hair oils. Optimize results by heating the oil lightly before use and keep this on for about 3 hours before you hop in the shower. This gives you ample time to put your outfit together. I personally love to do a little clean up around the house while I wait for my hair oil to really sink in. If you haven’t gotten a mani-pedi done, now’s the time to clean up the remnants of last month’s chips and stains on your pointers.

STEP2: LATHER, RINSE, REPEAT

Before hitting the shower, pick out your exfoliator. If you’re going DIY, mix it up and keep it ready for when you’re done or make sure to keep a readymade scrub nearby. DIY has its benefits but if you’re anything like me and way too impatient to sit around for almost an hour for some yogurt paste to dry, you’ll like the idea of using one of Spa Ceylon’s range of body and face scrubs right after you’ve cleansed.

STEP3: PREP TIME
