When you think of Florida, what comes to mind? We’d be willing to bet it’s theme parks. Of course, theme parks are a large part of what makes Florida such a well-loved holiday destination, but it has a LOT more to offer than just rollercoasters! With beautiful beaches, blue skies (it’s dubbed the ‘Sunshine State’ for a reason!), delicious seafood and plenty of day-trip adventures, Florida is a perpetual vacay.

WHERE TO HANG

Miami may have great beaches and art-deco buildings, but let’s be honest, the city is really known for its pulsing nightlife. While the clubbing scene is intense and second only to Vegas, you have to dress to impress for all clubs in Miami. Also, be prepared to pay exorbitant prices – think $27* for a vodka soda and $80-$135* for club entry. However, ladies (sorry, guys) can try and get away with this by getting onto a table. Doing so is no small feat, as it requires talking to people and club promoters before you get in the club, if you don’t want to pay club entry. Otherwise, you can network your way onto one once you’re in. Check online to see what’s going on each night you’re there, but the top picks are STORY nightclub and LIV.

For those who prefer partying during the day, Miami has a multitude of pool bars and clubs, but make sure you check out Mondrian and 1 Hotel.
