Reducing food miles, looking for something bespoke or artisan – or simply wanting to support makers and local companies at a time when they need it: whatever your reason Cornwall’s Food and Drink industry is beginning to blossom again.

While many local makers, shops and eateries were badly hit by the Covid-19 restrictions, many also used the time to develop their business – adding new services that reflect the needs of our new way of living, improving online shopping and even developing a host of new products. Entrepreneurs have also taken the leap to creating new businesses using their restricted time to fulfil lifelong dreams.
