Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G: Plenty To Play With

The Samsung Ultra lineup brings together premium technology housed in a stylish body. The first two phones in this series were the Galaxy S20 Ultra and the Note 20 Ultra, which were top of the line phones. This year, after paying heed to the suggestions by users, Samsung has introduced a highly advanced version in their popular line-up, the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G.

A Variety of Options

It features a quad camera setup on the rear—a 12MP f/2.2 ultra wide camera with a super speed dual pixel AF, a 108MP f/1.8 wide angle camera with PDFA and OIS, a 10MP f/2.4 telephoto lens, and another 10MP f/4.9 telephoto lens. The latter two have dual pixel AF too. The Space Zoom feature can optically zoom at 3x and 10x, and 30x and 100x digitally.

The rear camera has multiple modes— Panorama, Night mode, Photo mode Portrait mode, Pro mode, Food, and HDR. The Photo mode enables users to zoom between 0.6x to 100x, as well as capture 108MP resolution photographs. It also has a Scene Optimiser that can recognise and capture 30 different types of scenes and subjects. Samsung’s filter options enable one to choose from 12 existing filters or create one by selecting an image that you shot or downloaded, from the gallery. The latter feature automatically adjusts the camera settings to get you a similar effect. The Pro mode allows one to choose between three light meters, and manually set the contrast, highlight, shadow, saturation and tint. In the Pro and the Night mode, you can zoom up to 10x, and up to 6x when using the108MP lens.
