iPhone7: The In-Depth Review

HANDS-ON WITH APPLE’S LATEST GAME-CHANGER

When it comes to smartphones, it’s fair to say that Apple consistently delivers. After shipping its billionth iPhone earlier this year, the Cupertino firm could have been forgiven for releasing a minor update to its iconic device this year. But if anything, disappointing device sales as of late made this keynote one of the most important ones for the company in recent times.

Ultimately, Apple didn’t disappoint. As well as rolling out a new Apple Watch and announcing the release dates for its latest software updates, the company finally unveiled the iPhone 7, which sports a stunning new camera and a raft of performance improvements.

Whether you’re the kind of Apple fan who queues outside an Apple Store for your latest upgraded phone, or you instead prefer the comfort of pre-ordering or simply waiting until the initial rush of interest has died down before making your purchase, we’ve outlined all of the essential things that you need to know about the iPhone 7.

FEW OBVIOUS COSMETIC CHANGES

Although Apple usually plans big design changes for its biennial models, the iPhone 7 looks virtually identical to its predecessors. The dimensions and screen size are identical to the iPhone 6s, and you can even use the same screen cases and phone protectors. One slight tweak, however, is the removal of the antenna bands on the back of the device, allowing for a clearer design with a solid plate of color.
