A Classic Warmth
Ireland's Homes Interiors & Living Magazine
|July 2019
Amy and Brian from Dublin wanted a New England style design that was homely and suited their family. What Garrett Dillon has created is a classical design with beautiful curved edges that is both cosy and stylish.

Our previous kitchen was cream shaker style with eye level appliances and was contemporary in style,’ explains Amy. ‘We really liked the concept at the time, but it wasn’t very homely or warm and not really conducive to family life. We wanted to change the whole look and style of the room.’

Amy continues, ‘As everyone does, we looked at many different kitchen companies, all of which were really nice, it all gets a bit overwhelming after a while! After visiting the Garrett Dillon showroom in Dungarvan and meeting Garrett our mind was made up. We really liked the fact that his showroom showcases lots of different styles, but what really impressed us was that we felt that even though his work looks fantastic, we noticed that lots of his designs looked a little more homely and less like a show kitchen. Garrett is actually a carpenter himself, so as well as designing your kitchen, he is fully involved in the actual making of it. He would also project manage the whole job for us which was fantastic, as I find the whole thing mind boggling trying to coordinate everything because myself and my husband both work.’
