Something of a mantra for designers Nina Tolstrup and Jack Mama of Studiomama is ‘Waste not want not’. This husband-and-wife design team based in London, has a commitment to design that is borne out of a process of invention and reduction, rather than the elaboration of a decoration style. With this same thinking recycling and reimagining are critical and constant themes in their work and is clearly evident in the London cottage that they created as a rental for a family of four.
