It’s common to see siblings fostering a mutual business dream, which in most cases results in small, quaint corner stores or popular neighborhood outlets. A few are able to give it wings and transform their initiative into something the world looks up to. Take for instance, FLEXFORM. Three brothers Agostino, Romeo and Pietro Galimberti residing in Brianza in northern Italy, equipped with the knowledge of design from their decorator father, set up a craft workshop in 1959. They called it Flexform di Galimberti and opened their first street front showroom in Meda, displaying sofas and armchairs that during the post war era, found their way into elegant buildings in Milan, villas overlooking Lake Como, and today in worldwide hotels and homes.
